The Black Forest, done our way. Soft chocolate sponge layered with smooth vanilla pastry cream and chocolate shavings, finished with imported Maraschino cherries on top.
Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte, literally "Black Forest cherry torte", has been a cult classic among gateau lovers for generations. This is ours, baked fresh in our Sector 49 kitchen.
