We collect what we need to bake and deliver your order, and nothing we cannot justify. We do not sell your data.
What we collect
- To fulfil your order: your name, phone number, email address and delivery address.
- To take payment: nothing. Card and UPI details go directly to our payment provider, Razorpay, and never reach our servers. We only see whether a payment succeeded.
- When you contact us: whatever you choose to tell us in a form, on WhatsApp or by email, including a reference photograph if you send one.
- Automatically: standard website analytics — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser. This is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
Why we hold it
- To prepare, deliver and invoice your order.
- To contact you about that order, including by WhatsApp.
- To answer an enquiry or a complaint.
- To meet tax and food-safety record-keeping obligations.
- To send offers, only if you have asked us to. Every such message carries a way to stop them.
Who else sees it
Only the people who need it to get your order to you:
- Our delivery partner receives your name, address and phone number so a rider can find you.
- Razorpay processes your payment under its own privacy policy.
- Our website host and email provider store the data on our behalf.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone. We disclose it otherwise only where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax law requires. Enquiries that do not become orders are kept for two years and then deleted. Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it.
Your choices
You may ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Write to cupncakeart@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
Our site uses cookies to keep your basket working and to measure how the site is used. You can block cookies in your browser, but the basket and checkout will not work properly without them.
Children
Our site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
